Sitting in the same position for long periods and using a keyboard or mouse repetitively can lead to aching or painful muscles primarily in the shoulders, neck, back, wrists and hands.
The On Site Massage Company’s posture workshops offer advice on how to combat muscular tension and pain, RSI, headaches and office fatigue. We focus on posture correction through specific stretching and strengthening exercises, which re-educate the body’s postural muscles strain on over worked and tired muscles. These simple but effective exercises are easy to carry out at work and help alleviate aches and pains that often result from poor posture or repetitive loading. The 30 minute classes for up to 6 people are aimed at both injury prevention and management, equipping participants with techniques they can use in the office on a daily basis.
